Wow this thread has a lot of info and sound clips.

For those that have had a chance to compare the different cat back systems, which would you say is the quietest. I originally thought the Focussport stealth system was quiet but after listening to a few clips it doesn't seem so.

I want some sound but no drone on the highway.

Skully, I have a 06 2.0 duratec with steeda cold air and a magnaflow catback, and it is just right,i have a 18month old baby and it doesnt bother him,just the right sound and not to loud until you get on it,sounds kinda sporty to me.some of the videos do no justice for the actual loudness or quality of the sound, and remember some of these guys have headers,which makes it alot louder.i will post a video tommorow it is too late at night.

How is the drone in the car on the highway?

none, i have a auto tranny and no drone unless i take overdrive off and it rides in 3rd,you just hear it purrin,not annoying at all,then think about if you were that worried about it you could apply some dynamat to the trunk area and it will definitly help with road noise and what not and some heat if you get the dynamat extreme cuz it has a metal on top.

im just looking for adding a muffler to my car, ill end up doing it right before inspection cause i love this no muffler beastly sound...but i was browsing magnaflow and i was curious if the over all roundness of the muffler will make a difference to the sound because i noticed they have 5" 6" and 7" round mufflers...and i planned on asking magnaflow but does anybody know when they say for ex. 2.5" or 3" in/out are they talking about inlet diameter or outlet diameter
