Adding iPod input to stock radio?

Hi all- I have seen on eBay advertised stock radios from years 2005-07 that have a mini jack added for iPod input through the AUX setting. Does anyone know how to do this? IF you have the right tools, is it a fairly straightforward mod? My stock head unit still performs well and I am not able to do a full upgrade to a new head unit. Thanks for any help.

Thanks- That's great, but if I was going to pony up that much money, I'd get a new head unit for less. I'm looking for a cheap mod.

you can get an fm modulator for around $30 or so, but the sound isn't quite as good and uses the FM instead of line in.

look around for these adapters and you can prolly find them cheaper.

overall, I would just go with the aftermarket headunit though. best bang for the buck
