Turbo Set Up
On my 01 zx3 i have a t3/t4 turbo setup from Turbonetics. My question is i just busted a seal on this turbo system. My friend installed the turbo himself, along with intercoolers and all. The turbo is only a half a year old (installed in January.). Now the turbo just blew a seal the other day when i got on it a little bit. I was running 15 PSI when it blew. My internals have been totally rebuilt, along with bigger cams, bigger pistons, and a rebuilt engine. My car only has 49k miles on it all together. Now i am buying the exact same turbo off someone i know. My question is WILL I NEED TO RETUNE THE NEW TURBO THAT IS PUT ON BECAUSE IT IS THE EXACT SAME TURBO? and also WHATS THE HIGHEST AMOUNT OF BOOST I SHOULD RUN ALL AROUND, I RUN LOW BOOST DAILY DRIVING.
