so like for stock 19# injectors the high slope is 0.0054, so i take that and multiply it by .59 and thats my new high slope for my 42# injectors?

ok tom, i did what ya said, and the only thing i couldnt put the correction factor on was the "air mass displacement of one cylinder", now.....with my base tune loaded after i adjusted the high/low slopes, when i get into open loop the car starts bucking real bad, so i cant really press it more than half throttle so this doesnt happen........now i know under open loop the engine relies soley on the input from the MAF to put fuel in.....could something be the issue with the diable maf'ia calibration i made due to the fact i couldnt change "air mass displacement of one cylinder" ???

im using the SCT PRP with the XCAL2....im wondering if i need to adjust the MAF transfer function becuase of the MAF'ia

Sure you will need to adjust the MTF , sounds like you are way to lean

"now i know under open loop the engine relies soley on the input from the MAF to put fuel in."
[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]*Not true the ECU also looks at the base fuel tables , You "can" take out or add fuel in open loop with either the base or the MTF , Its best to get the MTF close then adjust the open loop with the base furl tables

""air mass displacement of one cylinder" Only needs to be changed if you need to raise or lower your existing load

ok thanks, i think the problem is the transfer function of my base file was made for the pro-m unit, and now that im running the diablo, its not the same......i never touched it, what changes should be made to accomodate the MAF'ia ? if its off i know its throwing off the load reading

i set the MTF 10% richer from 430maf counts up to the top, and datalogged to see whats going on when i go into open loop.....at about 4100 rpm, between 581 and 587 maf counts Short term fuel trim goes lean while long term stays 1, spark starts getting pulled, "spark source" changes from "1" to "2".....spark and st trim continue to decrease, and then at about 4500rpm (feeling the buck now) the load cuts in half, the maf counts cut in half, throttle drops from 728 to 167,spark jumps from 16 to 23.5, spark source comes back from 2 to 1, and then up to 16 for 2 seconds, and then back to 1, the borderline spark jumps from the 20's into the 40's and 50's, and finally pressure drop accross injectors goes from 44/45 to about 33.

what do you make of this tom?
