A fan Favorite! You're the driver when Texas Motor Speedway opens the speedway to the public. Experience the thrill of driving your car around the 1.5-mile oval! Cost: $25 donation for each three-lap drive.


This event is really fun. I've been the last 3 years and have had a blast every time. Post up if you plan on going. Here are some pics when I went last year in my Focus.

technically no there isn't but as long as you're not weaving in and out of traffic then they dont really care. if you are going to pass though, go high as most people drive low.

it depends on the group of cars you're in. if it's just a random grouping of cars, the pace car will run about 100. if some faster cars get caught behind the pace car, then they will bump the speed up accordingly.

in that 2nd picture i posted i kept hitting my governor(108mph) and the z06 pulled ahead of me. shortly after, his other vette buddies got in front of me and they pushed the pace car to 120.

when the viper club gets on the track, they do about 150.

Best to get your chip fixed first then it counds like, otherwise 108 is what ya get.

Sadly i cant make it for the fact that i have to shoot the commercial for the company I work for first... WOULD LOVE TO GO

At what time is it...Maybe I might still be able to make it...becuase the shots look like they are at night....and I shoot the commercial during the day
