auto to manual?

Alright so i got an 05 thats an automatic. (auto was free thru a deal ford was having)

i don't mind it now. but i was think in the long run, how hard would it be to change from auto to manual? any idea on price?

Getting a auto is the only regret that i have about getting the car

a couple grand, there have people that tried it and it turns out you'd be better to trade your car for one with an mtx, not only would you have to buy a new tranny, you'd also haveto buy a mtx ecu, amoung other things, do a search on this, there is a thread that lists all you need.

seems a little silly to go from automatic to manual. Cause manual is usually cheaper to buy from the start. I know ford giving away the automatic, i got in that deal also, but i wanted auto cause i live in pittsburgh where you are always going uphill. Anywho, maybe you should just wait til you get your next car, that's what my plan is. Good luck either way.

Here is all you do.

Sell your current car and buy one with a manual.

Takes no more than a day. The cost can vary greatly.
