cosworth focus

the new focus, the one we dont get, is ready in europe. top engine for the fwd version will be a 2.2 liter 200hp plus version. soon to follow will be the 300 hp awd cosworth. right we dont get that either!

why do people in Europe have all the fun. Then again if i lived there i would feel kinda slow with a cosworth focus and a RS Focus to compete with my PZEV. But besides that don't you think Ford realises what they are missing in the fact that these Foci could contend in the market with the EVO and STI? Especially with that 300 hp Focus? What exactly are they thinking? The SVT is good and all but really that would knock the SRT-4 out of the water too! Things would be wayyyy different if i had a say at ford

Ohhh cosworth ( homer simpson voice). I want one. One of the guys that works for me had a cosworth vega for years. Weber set up ,too. Other than rusting leaking oil and being a vega that car was alot of fun. he would catch 3rd everyday he left work. I kinda miss that ugly car.

It was a good looking car in the black and gold, I learned to like it. Only vega a really liked. The fun thing was almost no one knew what it was. That was the fun part...I know a guy who had a TVR who could probably relate to that..

what can i tell ya

i dont know.ive always had a thing for the oddball cars. btw, there's a guy down here with a v8 corvair. just saw it recentky. turns out hes had it for over 20 years. very cool cars. also blew my mind a few weeks ago when a 68 stang sedan, done up like trans am car pulled into work. number balls, the whole nine yards. you have got to understand, this is st marys and we dont see many things like that. oh yeah i got payback over not waiting for the cosworth. was on a back road in ny state in my 70 vette 350/350 convertible when one of the little buggers blew me off in a turn. caught me by suprise but still embarrassed me.
