Anybody in dallas area

I gotta question for anybody in the dallas area near harry hines.
i have a friend who is attempting to get his engine in his focus, swapped
out for V6 VTEC from a 96 prelude, is that even possible, or worth it? oh
btw he said there onlt gonna charge him 1250 for the convo and engine combined

if he wants a v6, then why not just grab one from a countour? there have been a few people who have done svt countour motor swaps. i think that would be more fitting and an easier install rather than installing a honda motor. i mean 1250 to swap a motor is cheap when it's going to be a one-off fabrication.

yea, unless you care for custom spindles, motor mounts and even more cash to be put on the table. do something easier like a 2.5 swap. same trans, better gearing. no change for the trans mount and suspension/spindles. also probably able to get a cheaper ecu.

It's not that it was a stupid question, yea a V6 swap would be cool. But don't bring a Honda into the situation. That is just wrong.

dude...for all that money, why dont you tell your "friend" to just slap a turbo on the zetec and be done with it.

cause the V6 Vtec would be 200-210 by itself the turbo'd zetec would be barely pushing 200
