Can't find an svt Clutch/flywheel how to replacment thread

Hey guys I'm about to take on the SVT this weekend and fix my slippery clutch. I've got a mechanic friend helping me so I'm not to worried about getting it done.

Anyway if there is a good how-to thread for this on the interwebz can somebody link me to it if not I will take lots of pics and try for a sticky worthy how-to thread.

Thanks in advance guys

I should specify I am putting in the luk replacement kit with the new flywheel and slave cylinder. I will also be changing the water pump and serpintine belt cause we will be pulling the engine (gotta love the cherry picker) it's just a bitch to get down in there. A new master cylinder and 2.1 quarts of syncromax are going in too.

car should fell like it did years ago before I bought it

Seeing as you're in Michigan too, let me give you the coolest link ever. It's a link to the Chilton Manual site on the Michigan Electronic Library. You put in your driver's license number (so they can verify your residency) and it'll take you to the Chilton menu.

https://elibrary.mel.org/validate?ur...ch%3Fdb%3DCHLL

I've used it for all the cars I've owned over the past 5-6 years. It's as reliable as any other Chilton manual on the market.

You can drop the tranny out the bottom pretty easy. Just remove all the subframe bolts except 1 on the pass side. It will rotate back and it will almost drop straight down. The tranny will balance with a bolt through a hole on top of it. Just use a chain and the cherry picker. I had my car on jack stands and it wasn't too hard once I loosened the subframe.

Yeah I got the new flywheel bolts as well as any gaskets I might need to replace and the timing belt has already been taken care of.
