Question Eibach Sport System VS Sport System PLUS???

I am planning on getting either the Eibach Sport System or Sport System Plus Suspension kit. The Sport system comes with sportline springs and eibach dampers while the Plus system comes with sportline springs, dampers, as well as anti-roll bars.

I am looking mainly for a lower stance for my car, but didnt want to sacrifice ride quaility...thats why im buying a whole kit instead of just springs. I dont plan on racing my ZX3. It's just a daily driver that i want to look good. So my question is this...would it really be worth the extra $200 to get the PLUS kit that includes anti-roll bars? What would the advantages of the bars be and would a moderate driver like me even be able to notice the difference with or without the anti-roll bars?

All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please advise!

thanks

i would personely go with the PLUS kit if you had the money to spend on it. getting the anti roll bars can only improve the handling of the car. and if there are any twisty roads by you then you would probably feel the difference. I just put the springs on my car because thats all can afford at the moment.

I PM'd you too

The sport system without the roll bars is still a high quality kit though correct? I wish there was a way to test the two out then decide if the extra money was worth it. If I will still get a smooth ride without the bars i may just go with the sport system kit and put the extra money towards some rims. Keep the comments coming though, you guys probably know alot more than me about suspension. I'm leaning towards the sport system but am still undecided...

But you are right...the car would ride sweet as all if you just get the sport system. I love how my car rides with just the springs, but I know i'll eventually have to replace the dampers also. I wish I could have gotten the sport system, but I too am saving for rims

I would'nt get the PLUS. I would contact Eibach first about the sway bars. I've been told (verbally by Focus-Central) that they do not fit the 05' models and Eibach does'nt make them yet for the 05's.. Definetly do some research before you spend the money on the PLUS kit.

Also, as far as ride quality, I have the Pro system and it's a little bumpy, but still comfortable. I think the Sport system would probobly be too bumpy for me as a daily driver..

ok well this is what i've found out from other threads concerning the eibach kits:
-The pro kit will lower your car about 1.5" and give you a good look and not too bad of a ride.
-The sportline kit will lower your car 2.0" and give you a pretty bumpy ride (even with the dampers) from what I've heard. Plus i think you have to mess with the camber so that you keep descent tread life.
As far as pro-kit vs pro-kit plus, I don't think you really need the added anti-roll bar thats included in the pro-kit plus unless you want the added performance for autocrossing or whatnot. This is just what I've found out in my own reasearch for a lowering kit. I myself am going to go with the eibach pro-kit for my daily driver once i get the money. Just do some more reasearch to find out whats best for you.
