AC Delete?

I got my ZX3 with the AC option and I'm wondering if anyone knows about doing an AC delete? Is there a kit out there, or do I just bypass it with a shorter belt or what? Not sure.

You should be able to use a belt from a non-ac foci.

Have you guys tried this? If I put a shorter belt on and bypass it, what happens if the AC is turned on?

With bypassing the AC, does anyone know how much power is free'd up? I figure it's probably not too much, but worth a try. Every little bit helps, I guess.

they say about 5% of power is free'd up...if you turned on...nothing would happen. just normal air would come from the vents, the compressor won't run so remove the components while your at it...no reason for a "ac delete" kit

Yes removing the components will free up a significant amount of weight.

As far as rotating mass, who knows how much power can be freed. Try it and find out.
