Sale 96 Civic hatch dx For a 2000 Focus hatch

Hey I recently purchased a 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback with 89,000 miles on it for 3200. There is this focus in my neighborhood for $ 4000. it has 80,000 or 90,000 miles on it, not exactly sure which one. I'm just looking for some opinions. I've always wanted a Focus but couldn't find one this cheap. Now im considering selling my civic and by the focus. What benifits would I get out of the focus that i can't out of the civic? Thought i would come to a focus forum for some opinions. Any suggestion will help.

if yu want speed, keep you civic, and throw a b16 or b18 in there.

if yu want handling, get the focus...

As long as we're talking about swapping engines; If you want real speed, get the Focus and drop in a V8.

advantages: euro styling, better handling, better torque, probably more confortable then the civic as well.

I can't say anything because I don't like civics. But i have enjoyed my focus from Day one.

BTW, my friend has a '92 eg hatch. Hes running all motor nitrous on a LS vtec setup. Last time i saw him run at the track, WITH a blown head gasket, he pulled a 10.1 ... h22 is unnecessary!
