Try checking Fuse #31 (Radio - 15Amp) and Fuse #41 (Radio and cluster - 7.5Amp)

Cheers!

i've tried them one by one and i've found 2 blown fuses...Yikes!! but... i replaced them and they didn't help. i'll try 31 and 41 again, but i'm getting the feeling that the 2000 is different to the other models ^^^ 2003. i'll let you know what turns out.

should be the same. there is a fuse box diagram in the manual though. if you don't have one, they are available online, too. check the fuses you replaced, make sure they dind't blow again, maybe you have a short or something.

Your manual should have a mapping of all the fuses.

it was fuse 31
when i was checking them one by one the other night, i forgot that a couple nights before i had unplugged the stereo and just placed it back in the slot. so when i was going through the fuses one by one, of course no of them worked. duuuh.
anyway, thank you to all that helped, i totally appreciate it.
