I'm gettin my windows tinted but...

So I've decided to get my windows tinted this weekend but I am going back and forth on whether or not to get a really dark black tint or go with the red tint since everything else on my car is red. Ideas, suggestions?? I just wanted to get some opinions from y'all on here before I had it done. At this particular moment in time I am leaning towards the black tint but I am still loving the idea of the red tint. I look forward to some suggestions.

I never advise for colored tint. Thing of it is you may like it now, but really, think of how styling trends change and turn on us as time passes.

Consider the 80s and almost everything that looked "rad" then... a poignant example. Charcoal/grey/black tint will always look classy, and never go out of style. Red is not the new black Just my opinion.

Pretty please oh PLEASE don't go with red tint. I have not seen one car yet with colored tint that actually looked good. Go with the black tint. You will be glad that you did

^Get the black tint like everyone else is saying. The red tint will just make you look silly.

I vote black as well. The only car I saw with nice colored tint was a Silver 03 jetta with some silver tint.

Well, IMHO, I think that you could potentially make either look nice. It all depends on what kind of mods you currently have cosmetically. I think you should do what makes you happy

Thanks for the responses. I actually decided on black tint on the way home today I called my buddy who owns a car audio and tinting shop and he is going to give me a 20% tint all of the way around for $99 (Is this a good price??). He was going to do it for me this saturday but his shop will be closed due to family stuff, so I'll be headin out that way next Saturday to get it done. I'm excited, I wish it was then now. I'll get some pics up when I get it done. I figured that with red paint, red Windshield Wipers, and red exterior glow the dark black will be a nice contrast. I'm also having a custom focus vinyl made for the top of my windshield which should look sweet.

Tomorrow night I get to install my phasing red LED's in my upper and lower grills if they show up. It's gonna be a good two weeks for my focus.

Does anybody have a pic of what 20% tint looks like, I'm kinda clueless on this stuff but he told me that should be dark enough. I'm really wanting a nice Dark Black on Red contrast.
