Unfortunately I cannot seem to remember to buy a Firewire cord (to download the video) anytime when I happen to have the money to do it, but here's me driving another guys car (Mazda Protege 5) at our last event.

He had a really fun setup, good rotation and transition. He also had a STS from Kart Boy. I didnít get the feel of right away, and I ended up laying on the rev limiter in neutral for the last half of the slalom on the second lap, while the wipers were going. How embarrasing...

My best clean time of the day was 58.56, while my best (and fastest FWD overall) was a 57.68 with 2 cones that I plugged my very fist time through that Chicago Box.

Holy crap, that looks so great Doug! I would love to bring the SVTf out to such an event...it does look a little confusing at first, but if you keep watching you sorta get a feel for which cones tell you to go where. I guess practice makes perfect, though!

Also, here's what happens when another FF member who is a professional photographer, Troy, comes out to your track event to try his SVT on the roadcourse with the Mustang Club of Central Iowa.

Every AutoX or racing pic I have from before could just as well be me parked on a country road. But Troy really made these look good, and you can really see the speed and drama of the moment. He sent me about 200 pics, and they all look great...

EDIT - All the rest are too big, and they don't do enough justice as GIFs to bother posting. Wish i could, though, as they're fantastic...

That was one hell of a long run. Nice job! Personally, I'm surprised that camera mount is as stable as it is. Especially with the acceleration and decelration that goes on at an AutoX event.

Awesome good old fashioned know how. I'm going to try it as well.

ok, I want to take a video of my runs I do Friday nights on the st between here and Irving on my way to drills.

But I have an analog camera, Sony ccd-trv138. I found out I guess I need an ecternal capture device for the a/v line. I can go buy one at fry's or something. Is that all I need? And a video package of course.

Are there any you experts recommend I get online, for free......I have limewire, :)
