What size is the bolt that runs into the camera? Those are universal in size across all cameras.

Your host is probably not going to be happy with you. It took me 15 minutes to download the first one to disk and I'm on a T1 connection. I'm still waiting on the second one, but the first one was fun. I liked the camera position, it was like you were sitting up between the two front seats hanging on for dear life. I set it on full screen and got butterflies in my stomach on some of the curves.

Wow!
Thanks for all the compliments/comments!
Yes, I'm totally stoked to create some really cool videos.

First off, let me say I'm going to find a different "non pointy" end for the tube.
I almost left it off, but I just knew I'd get some good comments with it on there!

Replies:
Was it fun except is your car lowered?
It's about as much fun as I can have...while still wearing my pants!
And, no my car is not lowered.
The only suspension work has been some sticky street tires...>>>Clicky

hahaha...i loved the "damn i just took out a cone" line
LOL! I guess I better watch what I'm saying in the car now!

You are a far more aggressive driver than I, impressive!
Thank you very much Alex!

I think now since you got that video camera, we're going to have to petition Tom
to make a WD40's Video Shack forum to house all your "contributions" to the site!

That's a great idea.

What size is the bolt that runs into the camera? Those are universal in size across all cameras.
1/4" X 20 thread. I think I put that in one of the captions on the camera mount pics.

Your host is probably not going to be happy with you.
Yeah, I'm a little concerned about that, but I haven't received any "nasty-grams" in my email yet.

Epilogue:
Alas, I don't have another event planned till the big NorPac Divisionals here on August 20-21.
I'm totally bummin' about that.

I guess I'll have to produce some scenic drive pics/stories in the meantime.

Doug,

I put them on my ISP's hosting. It seems to run a little faster. There's no download limit that I've ever been made aware of. I've had problems in the past with uploading stuff over 6 meg but they've changed programs now and these loaded right up in a couple of seconds. Anyway here's the links, use them if you want. If I ever change them I'll let you know.

Nice. When I tried to make a head rest mount, I just got tons of motion from the seat. It wasn't until I had the rollbar until I could get some steady footage.

Thanks! I do appreciate that!
If I get any flack from SuperMotors, I may have you put a few more up.
It's kind of tough at the moment, due to our slow system at home,
and all the blocked sites at work.
^^^Yours being one of them^^^ Bummer.

Egz:
Thanks.
It must be the "steady cam" option on this camera works fairly well.
I did have a couple people at the track give me the suggestion of running a strap from the mount to something solid so it doesn't move around a lot.
But, as you can see, there wasn't much movement in the video.

No problem. If you need any more uploaded and you can't get them on SuperMotors then email them to me. I sent you a pm with my email.

looks fun but confusing, you might have to watch a lot of runs, so you know where to turn and what-not...

I just bought my first camera, I plan on making a mount also just for cruising.
