Shouldn't you be spending college money maybe on... college?

Anyway, it'll cost upwards of 2k prior to labor costs I think... you can get in touch with Jeremy from FocusSalvage to see what parts he has, but finding a "donor" manual car would probably be best, since you need the transmission itself, wiring harness, ECU... lotsa stuff that would be a royal PITA to find all the pieces from different places, I would think.

It really depends where you get all the parts, but pzev is close to it. When it comes down to it, contact me if you want to try to do it yourself. I have done the swap a couple times and i will try to help you though it. There is more to it than simply swapping the trans and pedals and shifter. If you need help PM me.

Oh yea, one more thing, swapping the harness isnt nesessary. You can modify the atx one to work.

are you just looking for a tranny for the get up and go OR looking for a tranny
that will handle more power? If you are looking for a tranny to have more power I would recommend a Lentech Auto. A $2K Lentech will handle more power than the stock auto, its rated to take 275 whp. Not to sure how the Lentech would compare to a MTX though. But with the lentech you will have to buy another torque converter. Hope this helps
