Miffed... Ford Family Pricing

I am kinda miffed... I bought my ST a little under two months ago... and now there is Ford Family Pricing, eg: Employee Pricing... I could have saved another two grand...

Its to bad those of us loyal to Ford cannot take advantage of this even if we purchased the vehicle two months ago...

Anywho, just my two cents...

I did the math and the difference is about $1000 on a ST, Not enough to loose sleep over it. My girl is trading in her 03 Focus for a new Escape XLT so she will take advantage on this family plan.

yeah... the whole thing is a marketing ploy. Take advange of it if you're in the market, but don't go out of your way.

according to my dealer, Westway Ford, its about 4-6 grand total...they also have more rebates they can use, in addition to the employee discount!

so, I am kinda upset over that.

"yeah, I would have saved another grand..."

I dunno. I bought my ZXW in May and got it for less than the current family plan price with rebates.

No disrespect meant, but if the current price is a grand less than you paid in May maybe next time a little more negotiation would be in order, as it sounds like you may have left some money on the table when you bought your ST.

I just traded in my V6 2000 Mercury Cougar for a 2005 Focus ZX4 SE and so far so good! Sticker price on the car was 17,877, and I paid around 12k for it after the discount and rebates. This car was dirt cheap and perfect to cover up the negative equity I had in my old Cougar. :) I'll be doing some mods shortly so I can pin up the pictures on my website.
