Blowing off Vaccum Lines

Tom,

I have been blowing off the EGR vaccum line for months now. Every week it seems that after I get on the highway and hold boost up for a while it will pop right off the manifold. Sometimes it is worse than others, but occasionally it will pop off every single drive! The EGR line is connected to my boost gauge and my BOV. Ive tried cleaning it, making sure the tube isn't all the way in the boot(Ive melted part of the tube on the flex and I had to trim it down but its the boot thats popping off the manifold) and I cant think of any other way to secure it better!!

And this is with only 8 PSI!!!! I'd hate to think how it is at 14

Steve

It doesnt look like there is enough room on the boot for it, but some beer, superglue, and a Q-tip seemes to be holding just fine

On a happy note I fixed my oil feed line today!!!!! (I dont know why I didn't switch it to the head earlier...)
