I did, Glad I did it, the SVT brakes aren't amazing, just better. I'm sure the real high dollar stuff is better ( I have a Baer 13" kit on my mustang ). The SVT set-up combined with the stainless lines is about 30% better, just enough to stop that heavy wagon loaded with kids and camping gear as it rolls down the blue ridge ( at the posted speed limit of course ).

just went to the dealer yesterday and paid for my brake kit
and yup 171lbs and it's on a small pallet, but even if you order
the suspension kit they put it on a pallet too....
I already got my SS lines in a month ago,
so I'll be able to stop far better than the stock crap....
I'll definately be referring to this this thread

Viney, I appreciate the pictures and tips you have brought forth in this thread. In November, I bought the conversion kit from b16sir1991 and I was able to install it myself. Just wanted to say thanks

Cheers!

If anyone wants to do that swap, the kit new would be $797.50. The "only" draw back that i know of is that you cant use the stainless lines with the FRPP kit on the rear. They have taken the two line deal on the svt and made one single rubber line in place of it. I am currently trying to make Phoenix some hard lines to replace that so he can use the svt stainless lines.

<3

If I were to attach the two rear (steel braided) lines together (in series), it almost had enough reach to be able to fit, but it was just didn't cut it. I do appreciate all of the effort that you have put into this for me. You're awesome

Cheers!
