Head unit electrical problem.

Hey guys-

I just got my focus on wensday, 2001 ZX3 with 52K, woot.. but this eve i ran into some trouble while i was working on my head unit. Some how my battery wire got pulled out of head units (Pionner DEH-6500) wiring harness, and well.. boom went a fuse. The question i have is does anyone know where that fuse would be located, and if its one of the small fuses in the fuse compartment.. what number it is.

I would really appreciate the help, thanks guys.

-Kramar.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help. That diagram was what i was looking for. Unfortunetly my car did not come with an owners manual :(.

Got everything to work, sounds awsome!

On a side note, does any know if the deh-6500 (pioneer head unit) is 2 ohm stable or even worth running two ohm mode? I have 2 extra 4 ways, and 3 way 6.5s that i was thinking about running off of the rear output channels, but i dont know if it has been done, and if so how good of an idea that really is .

Thanks guys again for your help

nope, not stable that low, you'd risk frying something, don't try it.

and if you ever need to see the manual you can downlaod it from one of the links in the general FAQ section of the forum. there is a link somewher in there.
