Yep I got mine fixed last week for 87 bucks from a safe/locksmith store. Same problem key/ weel wouldnt turn. Luckily I got it to turn one last time at the shop, if it go's out completely they have to drill it so get it fixed quick or tack on a couple hundred extra bucks to the bill for drilling.

This might come in handy for those who need to drill out their ignition cylinder if you can't get it out of the locked position.

Drill with extreme caution.

Are you talking about the Ford OEM ignition cylinder un-cut ?

I have a local locksmith that sells an aftermarket one for $60 un-cut that's better than the Ford part. He's told me the Ford part will most likely have the same issue in time.

Well, if you havent seen a better price, then hows $50. No lock smith shop will beat my price for a new cyl. This is the new style cyl and wont do what the old ones will. A lock smith wont even use this new cyl yet. Which means that it will lock up again. Anyone with a phillips screw driver can do this. Like i said, if you get a lock smith to do this, its just a patch, and will do it again. You even get a spare door key when i do it too. If there are some of you worried about someone doing this that you dont know, im a master cert. tech with Ford that is trying to help you guys out buy saving you some money. This price is 10% over cost and im building them for free! How much more of a deal could someone want?

PS, theres no better lock cyl thats better than the new one from Ford. Yes, its un-keyed, but im building them for you. Please understand guys that the new one from Ford is a totally new design, its nothing like the old ones. I should know because i build them all the time here at work.
