Cai

Just wondering if any of you fellow svt owners have upgraded to a CAI, and if so what kind? I saw some on ebay for good prices and it seems like a simple install job. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

AEM is the only true CAI for the SVT that I've seen so far...

Looks like a good price Jonny, I may eventually take you up on the offer. I'm not in a big rush to buy, just wanted some feedback from people who have them first. Was wondering if you can notice any difference with it and if you have had any problems with water entering the system. I am going to be driving my car all year, through slush in the winter and puddles in the spring.

Oh BTW the one I saw on ebay was only for the reg. focus zetec not the svt (bomz kit) could it be modified to fit the svt?

thx for the feedback guys.

It can't be modified to fit. I sold mine because I stalled 3 times in a heavy rain storm (huge puddles though-not your typical storm) but I would highly recommend the product to anyone. I may even go back to it next summer. If you go with it just remove it for the winter.

You will notice a beefier midrange and some more pull on top. Definitely a worthwhile mod. No other intake on the market has been dyno proven to help out the midrange so much (~3000 on up).
