Angry lost 7/10ths on 1/8th with new header?????

ok, I ran a 10.5 in the 1/8th when I had just a drop in filter and a Flowmaster... now, I have a flowmaster that is hollowed, drop in filter, and an FC 4-2-1 Race Header... I ran a 11.265 @ 61.16 mph my r/t was .28 and 60' was 2.522... cpould the hollow muffler be my loss of power? I have a very small exhaust leak at the header-flex... could that cause me time? bad tires? dirty air filter?

Man, that sucks! I can't imagine a leak would make a seconds difference but I guess it could. I wouldn't stress till you get the leak taken care of.

don't worry about it. i'm from texas ,but i'm in the military that's why i'm up here, and i know that there are fast cars there. praise god for old school muscle but its the same up here. i go to kansas city and run my car all the time. my fastest time in the quarter was 16.8 @ 86 mph so if you get around that people will be amazed that your car can get down the track that fast.

Post timeslips so we can compare. There are a lot of factors that can affect a dragstrip time besides a new part.

Also, think about air temp as well. The hotter it is, the slower your times.
