^^ I see you have a PZEV....maybe the only one in this thread. You didn't have any leftover unconnected hoses, did you? I've got a PZEV and a spare MAF and MAF tube so I'm considering doing this, but am unsure about how the PZEV differences might change the process.

And yes, unplug the battery. Though it's not REQUIRED, it's usually a good idea to reset the ECU after any intake or exhaust modification. People argue about the need to do that or it's effects, or lack thereof, but it most likely wont hurt anything to do so...other than making you reset your clock and radio presests. This may...or may not solve the problem. But it's an easy start.

No I don't have any tube left. I cut that thing up. So I don't have to enter a code to reprogram the radio? That's my main concern. But I love the extra pull when changing gears.. Awesome. I say do it if you have a spare tube, what could you hurt.

I had to flip the sensor around. And i know i still need to get rid of the huge air intake that ford puts on these cars.. i was just too tired from 110 degree heat...

How did cchens do it? I just read on here that your had to flip the sensor, so i did. And this sat im gonna take the rest of the stock "intake" out...
