dont try it im not talking about any rally focus owners or whatever..if you have a rally car im not talking about you! but if you have a stock foci dont take it offroad if you want to have a car. there is no comparison between a car and even a small pickup (ranger/s10) years ago i was doing a u-turn on this dirt road and hit this tree branch about four inches around with an escort wagon. it nearly tore the car apart. i had hit the same branch many times with a f150 and didnt even feel it....so i say dont try it!

I've been off-road....

But the top speed has been 25 mph. Road it in second gear all the way down. The only real reason why it was off-road was because it was a non-paved dirt road that cars travel up and down everyday.

I'm definetly not taking any turns quickly and suprisingly, as slow as I'm going, it's a nice change of driving atmosphere. Besides, a car can't always be clean.

does anyone have a focus that is built to a rally platform? or close? i think it would make a good platform to start, but there doesn't seem to be any rally foci's out there, in europe ford only recently sponsored one, or will sponsor one in the next year in the rally circuit.

i took my zx3 off road and it did great just make sure u dont need to go up a hill bc ull get stuck if its muddy.but mine was stock and i did it bc i had a clear field with a nice little oval kinda road and i go really fast and did alot of driftin and in short it was the best time i have had in my focus yet but its much more dangerous than street racing so im not really gonna recommend either.but it still was fun just if u wanna do it make sure u know the focus's limits well and have a truck to pull you out if you get stuck or somin and be sure its a clear field for ur first time and then its all up to how u feel about it.but i got after pics and when i get em developed ill post em
