Tom, I need a favor.

Tom,
I ordered a 3" mafs tube from you a little while ago, along with a SCT PRP and a mafi.a. I can't seem to get it to idle well enough to drive the car. I tried multiplying all the values by 1.48 in the transfer function on my pro racer software (using stock electronics). It idles very erratically and it likes to stall out. All I'm using for tuning as of right now is the 3" tube, pro racer, and 42's. I am going to put the mafi.a. in when I get it running better and i can turn up the boost. I already have maps for timing and fuel. The auxillary inputs for the xcalibrator 2 aren't functional yet (says SCT) so I can't log air fuel to calibrate the transfer function table until they are.

The favor I need, if it is possible, is a copy of the transfer function table you came up with for the 3" (draw-through) tubes you make, with stock '01 ZX3 electronics in them. Is this going to be accurate anyway? I'm hoping you flow tested these tubes when you were developing them.

Thanks,
Nick

Do this go in your PRP and start a new file , start at about 200 ticks and lower grab the whole thing and - 15% see how that runs if it gets worse then + that 15 back and do +15 from the origional file

Yes these have been flow tested and changes were made to them , but to give you a TF that will work with your set up with as close as it seems you are wouldnt work , no 2 drawthrough will be the same

The nice thing about the PRP is you have the power to make these changes , it does not matter what the maf transfer functions are suposta be make them to fit your car and driving style

Tom
