SC with 2.25" exhaust or not?
I have money saved up now that christmas is over. I will be getting $1,300 from scholarships here in late january and my b-day is feb 4th so I will definately have enough for my stage 2 cams and I would like to get a SC also. Will a SC be ok with 2.25" exhaust because I dont want to have to buy a 2.5" or 3.0" exhaust.
Volant cai, 65mm tb, headers, hi-flow cat, bosal fp, magnaflow 2.25" catback, dbl pltm spark plugs, 8.5 spark plug wires, fc udp, findanza cam gears (waiting on cams before I get them installed) |

u will be ok with ur catback, if your exhaust flows too much u start to lose boost on the s/c but you will be ok. i personally would go to 2.5" catback but its not necessary. if u are getting an s/c stage 1 cams might be something to look into, and dont forget to take off ur UDP hehe. i have places written down where u can get a big boost pulley made too but ill have to find them. if u want to know about them tell me and ill go lookin!

yes get the stage 1s, i hear they run better w/ the Eaton, , your volant wont b neccissary anymroe either, but you can custom fab it to fit the JRSC as you wish, and you would make mreo power w/ the 2.5 and a race header, then possibly a calibrated 70mm MAF and 24lb injectors,i think those are enough, someone else might say 30

You have to remove it because it underdrives everything that is belt driven meaning your accessories spin slower. The supercharger is belt drive.
Why don't you want to have to buy a 2.5" exhaust? |

Because I won't have enough money to get the SC if I have to buy a new exhaust. But if 2.25 will be fine then what else would I need? Just some 24lb injectors?

well heres what you can do, get the SC and all the stuff, find another exhaust you like thats 2.5", get it and sell yours..

mofocus, what is the eaton? So i guess for starters I need 24lb injectors and 2.5" exhaust. Is that all? Is JRSC the best?
