Taking back seats out and making a sub box

I pondered for like 2 days about this and me and my dad have built many a subwoofer box, as we work in a plywood mill and have a decent selection of plywood for our boxes.

To get to the point I wanted to take out my back seats completely and turn them into a bench for my subwoofers. I want to put 3 subs in the box facing the back on the floor and make a back rest for the 6x9's and my amps.. that way they are still useable seats and I have trunk space!

My dad and I are making out all kinds of layouts to do this cause it's like the only father son time we've done and enjoyed. We have tons of ideas and are going to do it no matter what even if the seats are not useable. Anyone have any input or suggestions or even layouts of how to do this. AND has ANYONE done anything like this before?? I've seen custom boxes to the max but not as a back seat

as you probably know already, make sure to get that like 3-ply or something wood that is really dense for the enclosure. otherwise it will resonate too much. just thought i'd mention it.

there are also a few more types of these installs that i've seen but most are fiberglass. you might want to check the install page in the FAQ, there are A LOT that may give you ideas.

well i tried to find this other one, i searched really ahrd but i couldn't find it, but it had some brushed alluminum under the amplifiers and vinyl all over, it looked really nice.
