2002 1/2 zx3 timing belt removal With a twist not the same as most of the other cars

Well ill be replacing the timing belt on my 2002 1/2 zx3 since i have the head and everything off, just to be safe and also cuz i have an interference engine now. I bought one of those haynes manuals for my car but its for 2000 to 2001 and my engine is designed different in small aspects. I have the head and pulley covers all off and the inner wheel well cover out and i still do not see how to get at the lower timing belt where it connects to the crank. My car i think has a different setup its looks almost as if the engine has to be removed to get at it cuz its not like i can just reach down and pull it off. The belt goes down to where the inner crank pulley is and is surrounded by a bunch of engine and metal, you cant even see the bottom of the belt. Poeple with a 2002 1/2 will know what im talking about i know it sounds weird but its hard to explain Maybe VINEY, or TOM knows what i mean. I tried searching like always but did not have success. Oh yea do ya recomend going with a stock belt or like a esslinger belt i figured a stock one would be fine but just thought id ask.

Again thank you all for your time

Brandon.

yours is the same as any other zetec motor belt. maybe your just looking at it from a wierd angle compared to the manual. Trust me.. there are no major changes like you describe.
