MSD Wires and Coil Pack - Question on spark plugs.
I just installed some MSD 8.5mm wires and Coil Pack.
Are the stock SVT Spark Plugs Ok to run with this set up? I have heard it runs hotter and you may need to upgrade the stock SVT spark plugs. Who makes the stock SVT Spark plugs anyway and what is the model number for them?

The stock SVT plugs should be OK with your set up. You only need to move to a +1 step colder plugs if you are ~50hp over stock, which it doesn't look like you are.
I'n not sure what the P/N for the stock plugs are, but I got the copper core versions of the stock plus which are Motorcraft AZFS22C. Also note that the stock SVT plugs are 1 step colder than the stock standard Zetec plugs.

I'm using the same setup except I swapped the stock plugs out with some denso iridiums. Seems to help out alot.

which denso's are you running scuba? cfm lists the proper svt plus as the ITV20, but denso lists the ITV24 as the proper stock replacement.

^^^ Man, I myself can't see paying 10 bucks a plug. Now if I were (or shall I say when I) installing a Blower or Turbo it would be a different story. Just my opinion.

I got mine from Central Florida Motorsports ( www.c-f-m.com ) and after talking with the guys there they said to go with the ITV22's. They said they are one step colder than stock and would meet up better with the higher ignition charge. All I can say is that they work like champs!
