Uhhhhh, kbb has had svtf's on their site for at least a year now. Anyways, I think our cars have gone UP in value cuz when I checked mine three months ago and 18k miles, it said it was worth 10.5k on trade-in. I looked at it yesterday with 20k miles, and it said its now worth 11.4k on trade in...Hmmmmm strange!

BTW, interesting to see an american compact car keep value like a Honda. Check out value of comparable year si civic. Worth about the same as svtf!

I don't know how to explain anyone seeing the value of their car going UP... I check KBB on a semi-regular basis and the value of mine has consistently gone down, even with my relatively low mileage. Mine is $9,300 trade-in and $10,800 private party right now.

I'm in Minnesota and my 02 has a tradein value of a little less than $8000. Less than a year ago I paid $13000 which was a little below retail.

I paid $13.5 and now it's only going for $10.8. Bummer. Guess I only really have to worry about this in a few years when I get it paid off. No negative equity for me!

keep in mind that your location can also impact the price
