I get around 30, though the manual makes it far too fun to drive nicely. Maybe when I take a highway trip I'll get around 40

Anybody in Europe with the 2013 Focus 1 Liter Ecoboost? I wonder how the 2014 Fiesta in the USA with the 1 Liter ecoboost will compete with the Chevy Spark.

I average about 30 mpg in a 2000 w/ 2L Zetec and CAI. Most of the miles are highway but do include some steep hills. I never noticed a difference with and without the CAI.

I'm impressed!

I just bought this 2007 Focus SE used a couple weeks ago. It had 67,700 some odd miles on it. On the first tank I got 27mpg, but I was re-learning how to drive a stick (it had been about ten years). The second tank filled up with only about 8.5 gallons. I was suspicious, so I turned the key on and the tank was indeed full. I proceeded to calculate the mileage...

34MPG!!

I'm impressed! My old 1997 Honda Accord EX with a V-tech engine an automatic transmission was getting 28mpg on a good day. It had nearly 209k miles on it when I traded it in. Sadly, it developed a severe (2 gallons per week) transmission leak in addition to all the other things and it was time to lay it to rest.

2012 Focus SEL HB, live 3 miles from work with 8 stop signs and 1 red light during a one-way trip, where speeds are 15-35mph, and I get 22-25mpg. When I go to Wal-Mart about 10 miles away, the average jumps to 28-34mpg for the week. When I visit family and drive between Augusta and Atlanta, I get a consistent 36-38mpg with the A/C running, kids, and bags in the trunk. So I'm average over 30mpg per tank.
