^^ wow that's pretty bad.........but in all I guess it's not. LOL.

like I just edited, I have a tank mpg with almost 34 mpg at this time. I've only put 64 something miles on it, but when I was at 33 miles on the trip meter, my scangauge said I'd used 1.02 gallons so I know it's pretty accurate. I don't use the A/C either though, it's always an open window for me. it just can't handle it.

I have an 02 svt and i make a 330 mile trip from massachusetts to new jersey pretty often, and there have been a couple times ive made it on just one tank. if i keep it below 80 and dont floor it on every on and off ramp it usually makes it, but thats hard for me to do haha.

Nice post. I also depend heavily on a ScanGauge to optimize fuel mileage. Temp is a major factor. Last winter I found engine temps remained too cold for good fuel economy. I haven't started to look yet but was thinking of putting in a higher temp stat for this winter.

Until ethanol became the only game in town, I got 29.0-29.5 mpg almost every tank. That is driving 60/40, highway/city. Now 26-28mpg with 10% ethanol.
