im getting 41.4. im pretty sure i didnt fail basic math. but i think alot of drivers failed BASIC HYPERMILING (no lead foot, smooth driving, not braking when possible)

heres my proof one at 6xxx miles and 41 mpg and one at 7xxx 41.4 mpg i made it big so you dont need glasses to tell the"2"s from the "4"s. ;))

2006 SE sedan gets a consistent 35-36mpg on thruway trips. My wife's daily commute is a mix of 30-45mph suburban roads and stopped traffic on an extremely congested highway, so it's definitely "city" driving. There it averages 25-27mpg. In tanks that I would consider "mixed" we get low 30's.

This is bone stock, with the original PCM (not the updated one). The A/C is always running in New Jersey, and we like to accelerate.

Congrats on the 41.6! Hopefully, you DO catch me! Believe me, those tenths of a MPG take some time/miles to build up and it about killed me without the A/C on and the windows up today to get the extra .1! Well, it dropped down to 43.6 over the weekend driving all over around town (short trips, etc.) so I actually gained .3 MPG today. But, I still don't have the K&N. Still trying to decide if I want the K&N drop-in or the Steeda SRI (I'm leaning towards the Steeda) unless I custom build my own CAI (anyone have an original '08 airbox they don't want anymore???).

Regarding the photo... Nikon D70 (no flash), 70mm, F/4.5, 1/20th Second exposure.

I get right around 30 through town and about 33 on the highway. I've got a cold air intake on the car, and usually shift about 2200-2700 rpms.

Unfortunately, I can't change my vote. I voted when I hit 35 MPG. Oh well...

You know... maybe the upper end should have been 50+. hehe That would really give me a new goal!

I get 34 or 35 mpg with my '02. I drive 85% highway though and usually shift between 2200 and 2500.
