Amen on your view on the Focus! Paper said this morning that June sales were up 20% on the Focus for Ford. Maybe the $2500 rebates and 35-40 mpg will show the people what kind of economy there really is in the vehicle.

On another topic ..... I have mine (Scanguage II) on the way right now! Should be here either tomorrow or Friday. Can't wait to get it and get it installed. May have to pick your brain on getting it calibrated correctly, manual seems pretty easy to understand but you never know! By the way, I have no doubt you will see "60" yet!

*blushing here * No doubt in my mind either . That 728 miles to empty pic? I didn't post the 'tank current' ... as that was only for *that*33.9 mile leg ...

see ? The Focus rocks 60!

When you get the SGII I will be more than happy to help with what I can .

Good FE to you and yours .

Well, if you have ever been to Duluth, MN, you know that it is a VERY hilly city. That being said, I think my 22-23 mpg is pretty decent. These aren't your average hills by the way, lol seriously. But on the freeway I get pretty decent mileage.

Yes I have been there . Your 20's aren't too bad at all for normal driving on that terrain ,especially considering it as 'city' driving. If you really pay attention to your driving habits and terrain you may find some advantages you didn't realize .

^^ Lol, I tend to avoid the very large hills. Almost going out of my way to get home. But I hate some of them, they're awful.

I know what ya mean - a few hills but only one with a stop light at the top here ...I avoid the 'uphill' light like the plague .

I get an average of 31 mpg the best bein 34, and i personaly thought that was bad untill i saw this thread! i just use shel fuel! and a fuel flush from time to time! thats with having a few races also! so probably on a motorway would get 35- 36.
