Just filled up today, got 28.79mpg. Country roads with rolling hills, and 50% city driving, no freeway use, and a couple of hard WOT passes. I'm driving very carefully nowadays, looks like it's starting to pay off.

It really isn't easy is it ? You're making progress !! You'll be up in the mid- 30's soon and still be able to haul patooty !

(I just posted a 48.5 today - a lack of concentration on my 4 a.m. commute lost a 50 mpg fill up yup ... )

just bought my 07 sedan 2 weeks ago-been pretty easy on her so far-(5 spd 2.0) about 32-33 mpg half city and half hiway commuting-with ac usually on-Im pretty happy-might go up after break-in-ya think?

Another fill up...back and forth to work this week...prob about 70% hwy and 30% city...conservative driving, no A/C popped me 36 mpg. Big Grin!

I get 25 in the SVT. When I got it to the wood I get about 23.

...but they are 23 glorious miles.

Do it! Worth every penny .

Too bad about the platform change in 08 as I believe the Focus to be the most under rated value going in a non B-segment car .
