FC/FS Race Header sound difference?

I may be picking up a FC Race Header used but I have the FS stealth exhaust and FS Flex Pipe. I have heard the Race header with the full FS setup but was wondering if the volume or tone would change much with the FC race header on there instead?

I have an automatic and heard the 4-2-1 design would be better for me. I'm sure I would be happy with either of these headers but sound IS an issue so if the FS header is even a small amount quieter I will pay the extra money and go for that.

well...
what make the car sound differently is the exhaust and the kind of header...(shorty or long)
the sound of the fc header with fs header should be VERY similar....

I think either one will make it extremelly loud! I just put a focus sport race header on my car, and it is suuuuper loud! Do not expect the word quiet to be a part of your focus if you get a race header installed.

Actually I don't think it will be too loud. I know someone running a svt header, r/t hi flow cat, and the focus sport stealth exhaust, and it isnt too loud at all. It sounds really good though.

It will be loud on any exhaust pretty much but considerably LESS on the stealth system.

Well of course with the SVT Borla (with resonator) or the FS Stealth Eshaust (which is designed to be quiet) it wont be as loud. But on average, a race header will make your stuff very loud.

i agree too, and any type of race header will be loud, mine sounds kind of deep at low RPm which i love, but once i get to 3-4 RPM it gets very lound. that is why im thinking in removing my headers, i just dont like all the atention on me.

every time i pass by someone they turn to look at the car they think its a cool civic, they find out its a focus and they turn back again hehe, J/K
