I got two hoses with it the elbow for the pcv and a longer breather tube hose with silver heat wrap on it. I think it was from the valve cover to the air box

On mine that long tube with the thermal wrap goes from the end of steel PCV tube to the back of the intake manifold. There should be a metal tube that goes the width of the cylinder head. That is the one that the PCV & elbow plug into. Then on the other end that wrapped tube continues onto the lower part of the intake manifold in the back.

I see that. On break i went out and removed the airbox hose and compare. I will be able to get under it in a few days and take a look. I imagine it needs to be accessed from the bottom. Thanks for the tip!

GhostTribute is right. But you will have better luck from underneath The hose going into the intake has a clamp on it.

Probably one last question for a while...in regards to the thermostat housing is there an upgrade to the plastic one that is used on it such as metal or is it just the same old plastic one Ford has used for a long time? Everything I seem to find is old and outdated as far as the thread goes. Thanks guys.

There is an aluminum replacement that they are selling, if I remember correctly it costs somewhere around $250-$300.

I remember reading an article stating that there is a certain range of years that the thermostat housing is better. If memory serves me correctly it is the 00-02 but I'm not 100%.

Must not be the 01 lol maybe I'll get my quarter inch ratchet out and just see if any of the bolts are loose. Snug them up a little if they are.
