nope, it turns off with no weight in the seat.

Does anyone know if you can:

1) wire up the power adjustments on the SVT seats to work if you didn't have stock power seats, and

2) If you can convert the SVT seats to heated seats?

My '06 has heated, manual adjustment seats and I just got some SVT seats- I'm curious to see if I can pull this off without losing any features.

1. Yes you can wire up the power part of the seat, however i might mention the ajustment is just up/down.

2.Yes oyu can convert SVT(alot had them) to heated seats, its a matter of pulling the pads out and putting them in your new seats(there is a write up in the sticky here I think)

Yes you can pull this off without loosing features! :)

Sweet... and the closer i look at the SVT seats, I think they may already be heated- there are two wires running up into the cushions, and I can't think of what else those would be for.

Got mine in today, and just need to work on the wiring. I swear I saw a link to some other forum that explains the wiring; anyone know which thread that was in? Can't seem to locate it again...

Bringing the post back again, lol, anywho. I myself finally got the SVT seats in as well, but, the air bag light is still on, on the cluster....I did everything right, everything is plugged in right, but the light on the dash is still on, not sure why.

Any I also need to figure out how to get the power working on the driver's side...
