mm I agree that they are beefier and more well built than conventional cables but I have not noticed any horsepower increase or gas mileage increase since I install them (10 months ago). Maybe that's because I had a poor ecu flash in my car and now that I got a better one things should be a lot better.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting any HP increase. I bought them for the MPG increase and the impression that future modifications would benefit from the increased spark. Did you regap your plugs to .065 when you installed the coil ?

There HAS to be another factor in that, this is a good set up but I think 50 more miles to a tank seems exsessive to me.

I think 50 mpt is entirely possible but you are probably right in that it wasn't just the coil and wire improvement over OEM. Maybe the OEM wires/plugs etc. were faulty. I got +36ish mpt but I put iridium plugs in at the same time and my plugs and wires were good originally.

I agree w/ the newb. If the coil was cracked, or he had arcing between wires, there could definitely be a gain. 50 over a whole tank is alot, but not when you consider he may have had misfiring plugs and a cracked coil.

They say to use the Live Wires because the coil/wires have a different connector on them than OEM. The connector may even be unique to that coil and live wires but I can't say for sure. Different than OEM is all I know. So if your wires fit the stock coil, they will not fit the Screamin Demon.
