your best bet is to put the engine on a jack a then jack the engine to the right position.

The best and easiest way is just to put the engine and tranny together outside of the car, then drop both of them in together at the same time.

The chiltons and Haynes says it can't be done but it can if you lift it up high enough and angle it just right.

you sure you dont have anyone to help? not even a little sibling or anything? the tranny is actually light so if you put the enigne on a jack stand and lift the tranny up into place its actually pretty easy to line up.

Good Luck and hope that helps,
- Josh

The only other way I can think of with out removing the tranny and then bolting them in as one is to try coming in from the top with a engine lift, how exactly did you get it out? Sounds like you may need to do a bunch of wiggling to get that in.

Sorry thats all I got. I will ask some of my friends.
