Lemons and Cherries

You all know about Lemons right? Of course. A lemon is a brand new P.O.S. so to speak. A new car that has nothing but problems. What a lot of people do not know is that there are Cherries. Or some people might say that, "it was built on a Tuesday" So anyways to get to my point. I think my 2005 ZX4 St is a Cherry. Why? Because it just seems faster than it should be. DOn't get me wrong, it's not a rocket. But I raced a few cars that should have beaten me. The guys I raced can drive. How a bout a GSR? Believe it? OK. How about a Saturn station wagon? Kidding just making sure your paying attention. But seriously. My car is quick. I wish there was way to tell. I have had some quick cars , I had a 12 second laser, I had a 94 tt supra back in 1999, I owned a eurospec bmw right off the track that retired in 1991. This car is piss in the wind to them but......it is faster than it supposed to be. I am not a BS'er like was spoken in the other thread. I work on cars for a living and I will be a Police officer in June. Just want to know if any of you Focus pros can help me figure this out. Do I have a fast St or am I tripping? Also if there are any of you guys or gals that live in Central NY let me know.

The ST should be peppy, throw her on a dyno and that could help you see if it's "unusually fast".

yes I took care of it through break in. I have put many miles on it since I bought it. I drive back and forth to syracuse which is 150 mile trip on the NY state throughway. As far as the dyno goes, thats a a lot of cheese to be spending right now. As far as mileage goes when should it be broken in?
