What's tap talk? And no, I am no expert, but I am a purist when it comes to rotaries, so I would never put a piston engine in any of my rotary powered vehicles.

Sorry, I researched the tap talk thing. I am a member of the Rx7, and REPU forum as well, but didn't realize there was such an app that integrated all of these into one. I happen to own vehicles of both categories. I drive my focus every day for fuel economy and comfort. I drive my rotary vehicles for fun and excitement. The engines are vastly different in comparison. I know more about rotaries and understand them better than I do a piston engine. I had Tom tune my focus with the JRSC, and I trust him implicitly. I have a 12A peripheral port that makes 280hp that is NA. Its not a daily driver, and it gets shitty fuel economy, but its got a fun powerband from 6-11k rpm, and surprises the shit out of people.

All of this is in the future, though. We'll be trying to get the short block swapped this weekend. After that, tune for the blower. Then we'll start with small Zex shots and work our way up to where we want to be. Depending on what IS says, we'll adjust accordingly for next year's season. At this time I won't be able to use too much because the organic clutch I purchased will only hold about 250ft/lbs.

Okay, I talked with Steve at IS and he's kind of excited about designing a nitrous kit. His son has a ST so he thought it was awesome someone had decided to do what I'm planning. I'll be getting pics of the plastic IM and a few other engine parts to send to him. Once that's done, he'll try to figure out what the best solution is to spraying a lot on a forged bottom end zetec. He agrees that spraying through/under the TB is a bad idea when going with as much as we want to do.

If he can do it, I'm going to see what he can do as far as offering it up on his website for sale to you guys. We'll work on having it adjustable from a single 55-200 wet shot stage all the way up to a 2 stage dry (return system + tuning needed) or wet shot (tuning needed). I don't want to say what we talked about just yet but I think it'll work really, really well.
