Fog Light Installation Question

My '07 does not have fog light housing installed. But my bumper has black plastic slats in the location of where they belong.

Is it possible to remove that black plastic piece on both sides and just insert the fog light housing in its place? Or will I need to get an entire new bumper that has the fog light locations already removed (or the housing already installed)?

Ideally, I'm hoping that I can simply "unsnap" or somehow otherwise remove these sections that appear to be separate from the body of the bumper already. It seems to be a whole different texture and is a different color.

As far as I know it can be removed and then install the fogs. I am not sure about the wiring though. Maybe another member can chime in about that...

I installed black headlamp housings and completely forgot to check if I had the fog light wiring harness already installed. not a big deal to take everything back out and check, just wish that I had remembered in the first place and that I didn't need to take the headlamp housings back out! haha

Looking at the location where the fogs would go, I can move those two black pieces separately from the bumper. The slightly shift left and right in their seats, but unsure if I can pull them out without needing to take the bumper off.

Do I need to take the bumper off to take those pieces out? And if so, how hard is it to take the front bumper off? I'm guessing that the headlamps and grill will need to come out and I know that there are hex bolts underneath holding the bumper to the bottom of the car.

Just throwing these questions to anyone out there who installed fogs on a bumper like mine.

Thanks everyone

As long as it isn't an SAP bumper like mine then you shouldn't have a hard time taking the bumper off.
Mine on the other hand had those screws all over the place up underneath above the dust shield .

So when I got my HID's installed I had a professional body shop do mine that way I could hold them accountable for messing anything up . :)

This is what the SAP package looks like and the front surround by the grill and bumper are all 1 piece.
