This is the perfect subject for a poll.

Cai first .... remember breathe in breathe out.

If you get an intake first of cource you will feel bigger gains than just an exhaust. Now in you were to get the exhaust first, when you do get an intake you will fell a very nice increase in power. In the end it's all the same though.

I did CAI first, Borla catBACK second... it's a good route to take, IMO.

You'll love both mods, but like others have said, the CAI is cheaper and a little more bang for the buck. Then go for the "Breathe out" aspect of exhaust.

I'd definitely call stangstore or whatever when you plan on ordering the Borla, ot ensure it's the catback version... I'm sure whatever their vendors have out now are the newer type, but just in case, so you know what you're getting.

i think ill take everyones advice and go with the mm cai.....anyways i have listened to sound clips of the borla exhaust and like the tone but how loud is it? i dont want it to be too loud especially on the freeway and i dont want to attract any cops.....in california i think it has to be under 95db to be legal

I have both. I felt a bigger gain out of the intake and dyno's a bigger one also. I don't think I actually gained much power from the exhaust iirc.

Definitely do the intake first, it's cheaper and will make a bigger difference.

Truthfully i think the exhaust is more of an appearance/sound mod more than a power mod. Power added is just a good by-product.
