Tune trouble and I cant get ahold of Wayne

Hello everyone Im having a bit of trouble. I was at a stop sign today and laid into my svtf pretty good to get out in fron of traffic and all of the sudden a check engine light came on. I went to Autozone to get it checked out and the number was P0133 "something about 02 sensor slow to respond". Well I have tried to get ahold of Wayne but he isnt answering his phone and I dont wanna take it in to Ford becuase of the tune so I dont know what to do. Could ANYONE tell what I should do. The only thing that I have done is put back on the stock tune. Could anyone tell me why this may be happening (Wayne,Russ,Tom,Randy) or whoever else does svt tuning. Im freaking out a little here the car only has 8k miles on it so if anyone could help me it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your time and input.

Do you have a MIL eliminator? If you aren't using Wayne's tune, then the O2 sensors are turned back on. If you are using an ORP, I'd say you don't really care about the O2 sensor, so put Wayne's tune back on, clear ECU, and have fun

I have the same CEL code after 2 months of running Randy's tune. You can eliminate it by reflashing the same files. However mine kept on coming back on weekly basis. For solution I just bought the Actron OBDII code reader on ebay. I'm going to erase that code once I get it by Saturday.

There is nothing to worry about. Its the O2 sensor picking up emission issue.

To bad you can't use the flasher to read and clear the codes.

You do have to worry because this is your FRONT O2 sensor. Now it's not a "pull over now" type of code, but overall your car could end up running badly since the front O2 feedback is what your ECU uses to trim fuel for the proper a/f.

Dont worry about the code, and DEFINATELY DO NOT take it to ford. Worst case scenario.. you have to buy a new O2 and put it in. It will cost about 60.00 and takes about 20 minutes.

Dont worry about it.

Your car didnt stumble or hesitate did it?

If anything I'd say its just one of the quirks of the over sensitive OBD2 system. Flash waynes tune back in (you can remove the MIL as the back o2 is turned off), if it pops on again, pull the negative terminal for about 15 minutes and push the brake (to clear any current that may be trapped). Recconect your battery and try again.

I had a CEL come on (did scan it) but after the 3rd time I fired it up, it went away. I'm plauged with a 'random misfire #1' which makes me beleive my #1 fuel injector was sticking or didnt squirt for a moment.

perhaps it is an "oversensitive" o2 sensor, but for those of us who want our cars to run like stock without warranty issues, dont you guys find it bad that a tune will throw a CEL code? all i know is that if i install an aftermarket tune on my car it better not throw any CELs...

I have the SCT software. I tune my own car, I cannot for the life me think of what would cause the front O2 error that he is getting.

So while I'm not going to say it's not possible that it's the tunes fault. I cant' see how it is.
