where should i put an exhaust cut out?

Alright, I have an 01 zts with the 2.0 dohc, basically I want an exhaust cut out so I can keep my quiet exhaust but when I see a civic with neon hubcaps I can drown out that kids fart can. So where along the exhaust would be the best sound and possibly help out high end performance.

Oh for mods I got a racing header, egr block, a/c delete, performance air filter, stripped cat(take that hippies). Engines got less than 20,000 miles on it so the cars got some pep.

Local scrap yard IMO.

Noise does not equal power ... it does attract law enforcement and unwanted attention though.

Say you're 'racing' someone. Who do you think the cop will go for, the loud obnoxious car or the one he can't hear?

Bypassing a restrictive exhaust can help if done right, and when its time to be a grown up again you just close the cutout(this is where my car is once again quieter and not attracting attention. Ya know an exhaust cut out. Only post if you know what they are.

Honestly, your just going to be loud and obnoxious. No better than the civics you're trying to "race".
