I'm quite happy with my Duratec. Sure, its still light in the engine department, but with just an intake, it still managed to pull a 15.473 a while ago (Moorewood was the only SVTF at that Ford day that ran faster than me)

Alot depends on the driver, but the advantage is still in the SVT court.

A little while after I got my car I raced a ST several times from off the lot. We went from dead stop and from a roll. From a dead stop we were almost dead even till the RPMs get higher and I pulledfurther and further away. I think from like 50mph on an SVT would walk an ST bad cuz 3rd and 4th are geared real nice for the powerband of the SVT. Peak TQ on the SVT is like 5000rpm I think and its only like a few lb-ft difference than ST. But when does ST make its peak TQ? I think much lower than that I think?
