Everything you will need to have the kit operational and completely installed will be in the kit. So, no you will not have to purchase a controller.

Thanks for asking!

My Review.................

WoW....
That sums up the quality of the kit,

I will start with the install.

The hardest part of the entire install was deciding a place to run the wires to the inside. Since I have a auto I used the hole where the clutch should be, the wires were extremly long so I have alot left over. The clips that are given for mounting the lights are perfect for the focus the lights lay flush with the bottom of my car. The only issue was with the screws that were given they were not able to penatrate any part of the focus underbody even when I predrilled a pilot hole, it was not a big issue I just used others. The controll that is given is pretty bulky but will soon be hidden when I buy the wireless remote.

Over all performance of the lights.

I am VERY impressed with the light distribution, it is very bright and the light extends 2 1/2 feet outside of the car. The patterns run in time with the other lights the only thing I would change would be the speed, the lights are a little slow when making the patterns.

All together rating 1-10, 10 being the highest

I give the single color LED Light Glow kit

9 out of 10

James you were VERY helpful durring the ordering process, I will be recomending you to my friends.

Thanks
Jon

Jon,
Thanks for the feedback! I know what you mean about the screws. I too predrilled and they took fine after that but I didn't chage the hardware at all like yourself. I will provide the comments back to Lite Glow. Perhaps they could supply better screws with the kits. The fact is what ever material they use or spray on the under carrage is some tough stuff.

The only reason I changed the screws was I did not feel like pre-drilling every screw.

How exactly does the wirelss remote hook up is it a whole new remote or is it a add on to the existing remote?

The universal wireless remote? Basically, it is a switch. You put it in line with the power or ground wire. Click the remote and your system is active/on.

I personally used this in my set up. I have the Red Lite Glow LED Under Car Kit in and the Plasma Glow Red Wheel Well LED Kit all hooked through to the Universal wireless remote installed on my RSX. All my lights with just a click.

RSLED7 remote. I am not sure that will work with the single color. I will ask about that on Monday. I know the 7 color kit buyers love it. I really don't see why it wouldn't work out for the single color (you just won't have the options of changing colors) but they would know for sure. So I will have to get back to you on this one.

Spoke with Lite Glow today just to confirm and the wireless remote for the 7 color is only for the 7 color kit like I suspected.

If you are using a single color kit, the universal wireless remote we sell will work fine for the application. Unfortunatly, you will not be able to select the patterns. It is simply an on/off switch put in line with your power.

Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please ask. The sale ends in a short 5 days so get them soon.
